My father's name is Gerald F Erambert. He was born in Ocala Florida in 1928. He now lives in Cocoa Beach. My Grandmother married my grandpa, Gerald Fauntleroy Erambert in Hawkinsville Georgia.

Grandfather Gerald Fauntleroy Erambert (b.12 Nov 1894), son of Louis P. Erambert and Florence Isabel(la) Vink. If this is correct, then Louis P. Erambert might be the eldest son of Louis B. Erambert, a Wilmington, NC druggist who died during the typhoid epidemic in 1862.

What is the correct pronunciation of the name "Erambert"? I have only seen it written.
There are several Eramberts that came from South Carolina to Fayetteville & Wilmington, North Carolina. Daughters of Henry & August J. Erambert married Capt. A. P. Hurt (b. Lunenberg, VA) and Capt. Samuel Wallace Skinner (b.VA). These were Cape Fear River steamboat pilots.
Also, there was an Anne D. Erambert, of Richmond, VA that was aboard the steamer, "Bladen" the day of the Great Fire of Wilmington in February of 1886.

What kind of information are you looking for? I am a descendent of Charles Erambert/Sarah Sheffield. I have limited info on them....she went to live with Sheffields in Georgia after he died, but couldn't find how she was related to them.I thought maybe the child of a first marriage.....I did extensive research in Americus Georgia on the Sheffields but she seemed to appear from no where.........Their daughter was my great grandmother.
