Message to mrsprevo: You have recently attached a couple of pictures from my Epley Family Tree to yours, and it appears that you think your ancestor, Brooks Epley, was a son of my ancestor, Peter Epley, and his wife, Amelia Sterrett. However, as much as we might enjoy being related to each other (!), I don't think that is a correct relationship. Do you have any evidence or documentation that Peter was the father of Brooks, or is this just an assumption? I have never heard of Brooks Epley before, but I really don't know much about Peter other than that he had a brother named Killian Epley who died fairly young in Jersey Shore, PA. I don't know who Peter's parents were or the names of any other siblings, if he had any. You can look at my tree to see that Peter had a son, William Mortimer (my great-grandfather), and two daughters, Julia and Isabella. I've never seen a reference to a Brooks. I would appreciate your response, which you may send to
michaelepley@att.net if you prefer. If you don't have specific documentation to support your placing Peter as father of Brooks, then I would appreciate your removing my family information from your tree since it is not correct. Thanks. Mike Epley
