ENYEDY GUSTAV ENYEDY JR., age 86, of Gates Mills, passed away on June 9. Born in Cleveland Aug. 23, 1924, the beloved son of Gustav and Mary Silay Enyedy (both deceased). Dear brother of Otto (deceased). Beloved husband for 24 years of Barbara (nee Ludwig). Loving father of Louise (Joseph Bergin) of Albuquerque, Roseann (Peter Cyngier) of Strongsville, Arthur Gustav (Melanie Matway) of Seattle, Lillian (Thomas Lothamer) of Fort Wayne, Edward Anthony (Suzanne Chaloux) and caring grandfather of James, Stephen and Laura Bergin; Edward, Samuel, Kevin, Natasha, Elona and Nicholas Cyngier; Katherine, Patrick, Heather, Marie and Molly Lothamer; Ryan Chaloux, S. David and Joseph Mallon. As a firm believer in the sacredness of marriage and the honor of parents, founded the Hungarian Genealogical Society of Greater Cleveland. World War II U.S. Army Veteran served in Europe with the 103rd Infantry. Author of "Combat Diary: A Personal Record of Combat in Europe". Family suggests contributions to Cleveland Hungarian Heritage Society. Funeral Mass Monday, June 13, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Gates Mills at 10 a.m. Burial All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the SCHULTE & MAHON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 5252 MAYFIELD RD., LYNDHURST (BETWEEN RICHMOND AND BRAINARD), SUNDAY 1-5 P.M.
