Longmont Ledger (Longmont, Boulder County)
May 12, 1911
ENTWISTLE--In Longmont, Tuesday, May 9, 1911, Jackson Entwistle, aged 50 years, 10 months and 11 days.
Mr. Entwistle was born in Blackburn, Lancastershire, England, July 20, 1860. With his parents he left Blackburn for Fall River, Mass., October 24, 1869, where the family resided till 1872, when they came to Longmont. His father died in 1885.
Mr. Entwistle has made Longmont his home, though he has spent some fifteen years on the road for a buggy company. He leaves a wife and five children, all living in Longmon; three brothers, Amos, Thomas and James, and one sister, Mrs. C. H. Baker.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Christian church, conducted by Rev. C. C. Dobbs, after which the Woodmen of the World took charge of the remains and escorted them to Mountain View cemetery, where the interment took place with the ceremony of that order, of which Mr. Entwistle was a member.
I believe the father of Jackson, Amos, Thomas and James is James find-a-grave 53608637
Jackson is find-a-grave 53626475...it would be great if the birth and death info were update, this obit added and him tied to his father. The owner of this memorial will not update the memorial unless the request comes from a family member which I am not.
Amos is find-a-grave 60881173
Thomas is 53608416..his obit has been posted.
James is 53626421...the owner of this memorial will not update unless request comes from family....it would be nice if James was tied to his father 53608637
I believe Mrs.C. H. Baker is Mary Jane Baker...60876436...
If I find her obit to verify this....I will request she be tied to James her father 53608637
