Ethel R. Enterline, 95, of Plum, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012. She was the wife of the late Donald R. Enterline; sister of Norman Ritter, Mabel Lyon, Eugene Ritter, Audrey Konkus and the late Claudia Agey, Alice Milliken and Lee Ritter; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and caregivers, Charles (Juliette) Konkus and Craig (Alyson) Lyon; and great-nephews, Jacob and Joshua Konkus. Ethel spent her career teaching fifth grade at Center Elementary School in Plum, inspiring all of her students to learn. She was awarded Outstanding Teacher of America in 1973 in recognition of her contributions to the advancement of elementary education and service to the community. She was an active member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International and a longtime member of South Avenue United Methodist Church with an unwavering belief in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Recently, she was a resident at Juniper Village in North Huntingdon sharing her love with everyone she met. Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES LTD., 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road), Penn Hills, PA 15235, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday.
