***SPECIAL NOTE*** Please note that I am not related to any of these people, but have run across several newspaper articles and such that my grandfather collected from the 1950's and 1960's. He was born and lived his entire life in Shelby County, Indiana, and most deal with Shelby County, but there are articles from other papers, too. While I am unsure of the fate of these clippings and such (would like to give to a historical or genealogical group), I thought the least I could do was post the articles that I can positively date, in case they were of any genealogical interest to anyone. Hope someone finds this information useful.
The following item is from the back of a newspaper clipping about vice presidents. Unfortunately it is very, very small and there is no way to identify the paper positively, and it is nearly impossible to date. It was with a stack of clippings ranging in dates from 1959 to 1962, and mostly Indianapolis and Louisville papers. I can date the month to early August. I think this paper is either Indianapolis, Louisville or New Albany.
