Hi,
I'm sorry to all of you for my postings about this couple (William Enos and Sara Nelson), but I need some help on this one.
Sara Nelson is listed as a daughter of Lee Nelson and Beulah Nelson in the 1930 census. She is living with her siblings: Nobil, John, Helen and Alice. On the 1940 census, she is listed with her mother, Beulah, and her siblings. Her brother John in listed as married and so is Sara.
In Sara Edna Nelson's Alabama Death record it has her spouse as William E. Enos, which coincides with the District of Columbia marriage record of a Sara Edna Nelson Enos. But, it never is easy, her Find-A-Grave memorial and her tombstone have William L. Enos. This District of Columbia marriage has her being married in 1943 so she would not have been married in the 1940 census, if this is the correct person.
I am researching the William L. Enos who was born in California in 1919 and who died in 1993 in San Antonio, Texas. There were several William L. Enos around at that time in the military.
I would just like to talk with someone who has the above William L. Enos in their Tree married to this Sara E. Nelson.
Thank you so much for listening to this rant!
Joni
