MANSFIELD: Magdalena "Nani" Schneider, 99, of Mansfield, Ohio, died the 10th of November, 2014 following a brief illness.
Born on February 18, 1915 in Crevanka, Yugoslavia, she was the daughter of Henry and Karoline (Pilipi) Enis.
Nani and her late husband Peter came to this country during World War II, and owned and operated Schneider Bakery, in which they spent a lifetime together building.
Her job didn't stop there.
She came home to three beautiful children and her husband, where she tended to their every need. Nani had 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Daniel (Barbara) Schneider of Mansfield, Ohio; daughters, Carol (Larry) Kiefer of Mansfield and Kay (Jim) Trine of Ashland, OH; grandchildren, Steve and Tony Schneider, Linda (John) McGarvey, Tim (Wendi) Knapp, Mark (Kelley) Knapp, Mike Knapp, Steve (Anne) Knapp, Laurie (Rich) Schumard, Scott (Jill) Kiefer, Robert Griggs, Jami (Kenny) Wright, Laurie (Greg) Gleisinger, Pete (Andrea) Griggs, Jimmy Trine, Mike Trine; 26 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Magdalena was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Peter Schneider; sisters, Elisabeth Steger and Karoline Allen; brother, Jacob Enis; grandson, Christopher Schneider; and son-in-law, Thomas Knapp.
She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live forever in the lives of those left to cherish her memory. We will miss her laugh and her strength, and we cannot leave out her cooking and baking!

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 14, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
