MESA, AZ: James Lee English Jr. passed away at home on June 9, 2014 at the age of 71.

He was born in Newark, Ohio (Licking County) on June 12, 1942 to James and Helen (Adams) English.

He is survived by Cindy James English, whom he married in 1990.
Also surviving are his mother, Helen English Epping; and sister Linda (Charles) Dominick both of Mesa, Arizona; his daughter Michelle (Mike) Fannon of Kenton, Ohio; and son Michael English of Anna, Ohio; step-daughters Emily and Sarah Strahm of Columbus, Ohio; and grandchildren; Amanda Fannon of New York, New York, Christopher Fannon of Kenton, Ohio, and Heather (Brendan) Ostrom of Mililani, Hawaii.
He was preceded by his father, James Sr. and a step-father, Dr. Jack Epping.

Jim delivered newspapers for the Newark Advocate from second grade through high school.

He worked for State Farm in Newark, Ohio from 1960-1963 before beginning to work for Rockwell International in 1963.
Jim had several transfers with Rockwell working at the Tilbury, Ontario plant in Canada, then moving to Troy, Michigan and finally ending in Kenton, Ohio.
He retired from Rockwell in 1995.
Jim decided retirement life was not for him so he went to work for Steve Myers Auto Sales in Kenton from 1995-1996.

He then worked for Golden Giant Building Systems in Kenton, Ohio from 1996 until 2004 and they moved to Mesa, Arizona.


Memorial services will be held in Ohio at a later date.
