I thought I would post this in hopes of connecting with descendants. Peter Endres arrived in Savannah in 1838 and became a baker. He married Elizabeth Henidz in 1843, and they had five children, three of whom lived to adulthood: Louis (ca 1844-1906); Elizabeth (1846-1865) who married John Schwarz; Caroline (ca 1849-1860); Georgia (1852-?) who married Cassells; and Peter (1853-1860). Peter's wife Elizabeth died in 1856 and he married 2nd Mrs. Mary (Margaret) Hoffer in 1857. She died in 1861.

Georgia Endres Cassells helped raise my grandmother Meta Lois Lindenstruth and her sister, Carrie Elizabeth (Bessie) Lindenstruth.

Peter may have been Pierre Godefroid Endres, b. 20 Jan 1813 in Hochspeyer, Pflaz, Bayern (Bavaria) to Louis Endres and Margueritte Vogt.
