Hi Josh,
My name is Anne.
I responded to your first message but I don't think it went through. In respond to this message and your other message below:
"I don't know if this helps but I'm doing a fam. tree also and I found out that Juan Castro married to Encarnation Morales who had a daughter Belen Morales Castro who is my great great grandmother".
Please contact me as soon as you receive this. My paternal grandmother's name is Belen Castro Morales. She was from Puerto Rico. I believe she was married to Andres Oliver and had several children with him.
This may be a big coincidence but I don't think these are very common names.

Furthest I got back was to Encarnacion and Juan Castro. I called a family member in Puerto Rico by the name of Mary or Mara. She is the oldest and knows about everything.

Hi Josh,
We are indeed 2nd cousins. My dad is Angelo and your grandmother Rosie is his youngest sister. We live in Massachusetts not Florida. Your grandmother is probably thinking of Uncle Johnny who just moved to Florida this year. Where do you live and who are your parents? I just spoke to my oldest sister Frances who told me that if you are Rosie's oldest daughter's son, then she has met you when you lived in the Chicago area.
How weird is this. I just started researching my family tree and only found this website last Saturday. I'm checking this from work and don't have much time right now. I'm going to New Hampshire for the weekend but feel free to email me directly at gandamedina@dellnet.com.
Your second cousin,
Anne(how weird!)

Hi Josh,
If I'm not mistaken, I met your uncle, Richard during my one and only trip to Puerto in 97. I only spent one overnight in Vieques. Titi Mara brought me to Juanito's to visit and Ricky was there. I don't know if he still does this but he used to give tours of the bioluminescent bay. He seemed very nice.
