Surnames: Larson

I found the immigration year for Lauritz "Endberg" in the
1920 Census file (pasted below). There were lots of misspellings and mispronounciations back in those days given accents and helpful neighbors getting names wrong when asked to provide census data on another neighbor. The children listed under "Endberg" all match up. One of their kids, my grandfather, was Gustav born in Chicago in 1900..his full name is Erik Gustav Lauritz Enborg.

Lauritz Endberg

In addition, I have a note from a relative and a few others have validated this information...Erik (Lauritz's father)was an Eriksson, but the family went by Larson in Sweden.

Are you related to the Michigan Enborgs? I reached out to them about 4 yrs ago and received a nice email back with a story about how the "Enborg" name was created.
