Hmmm, very tricky. The problem with names like Eriksson and Larsson is that they changed for each generation. They literally meant "son of Erik" and "son of Lars". And the women would have names along a similar line.
So if Lauritz Enborg´s father was called Erik Eriksson, his father would have been Erik Something-son (for instance Andersson, in which case his father would have been Anders Larsson or something like that).
And if the mother was Johanna Larsson (or actually Larsdotter; i.e. "dotter"/Daughter of Lars) her father would have been Lars Johansson or something like that and so on.
And yes, I am related to the Michigan Enborgs; assuming we´re talking about Mr K. Enborg and family.
