I am searching for any relatives of Raymond
Enbody (Embody Inbody Imbody) who married
Jessie Meyers. They had one son and Jessie
died of "consumption" at the age of 18 or 19.
Her parents names were James and Mary Elizabeth
Arnold Meyers and the lived in either middle or
northern Missouri (or Iowa) when Jessie died.
I would love to get to know any or all of this
side of our family that, because of Mary Elizabeths
wrong doing, was lost to us.

In reply to your inquiry re: Lat Enbody, I have no idea.
All I know of Mr. Raymond (Raynond(?) Enbody is that he married my great Aunt Jessie Meyers and that they had one son together before she passed away from what was called at the time "consumption".

I know that she was the youngest of three daughters and that the eldest daughter was born in 1890's. She was born in either Oklahoma or Missouri from what I can remember being told.

I would appreciate any and all info you might be willing to share if you know anything that would be of assistance.

Thanks so much,

Charlotte

I know that there were Embody's (note the spelling) in Oklahoma at the turn of the century (1890's) but I am not sure how they tie in to your line, or for that matter my line, but you can email me and perhaps we can figure something out...
