Surnames: Emanuele/Formica/Romana
I am searching for any information on the surnames Formica/Emanuele/Romano. My grandfathers name is Paul Emanuele. Born 8-5-1873 in Naso Messina Sicily Italy. His parents were Ignazio and Rosa Romano Emanuele. I do not know if there is any other kids. He came to the United states around 1892.

My grandmother is Francesca Formica born 5-23-1887 in Sicily Italy (i believe near or in Milazza) She had 2 brothers and 1 sister(I believe her name was Lucia Formica Sofia last address known is Contrada Centro v-31 Milazzo Sicilia, Italy)The only other Formica name I have is Joseph Formica. Last address I have for him is Villa Grazia Milazzo Sicilia, Italy.
Francesca's parents names were Salvatore and Theresa Formica
Francesca came to the United States around 1913.

I hope some one will be able to help me search further. I will take any information I can get. It is important to our family. Thank you.

Surnames: Emmanuele/Emanuele
I found out new information on the Emanuele's I have been looking for. Here I found out that my grandfather siblings are:

1) Paola Emmanuele b. 6-25-1868 in Naso Italy d. 9-23-1950 and married Cono Calanna on 1-24-1904

2) Rosaria Emmanuele b. 1-8-1871 in Naso and married Giuseppe Scarvaci

3) Paolo Emmanuele (my grandfather) b. 8-5-1873 in Naso he came to the USA April 9, 1909 according to Ellis Island.

4) Vincenzo Emanuele b. 9-16-1876 in Naso.

5) Antonino Emanuele b. 7-25-1879 in Naso.

Somewhere between 1871-1876 they changed the spelling. Then when my grandfather came to the USA, he dropped the "e" and spelled it Emanuel.

I hope this new information helps someone to help me.

Thank you.

Not that I am aware of that anyone in my family line worked as a cement mason. I have not gotten very far on this line of my tree.
