Can any one give me any information about my grandfather who moved to Lincolnshire from Leics about 1934 he possibly lived in the Lake District (Little Sawrey)prior to living in Leics.
His wife was called Violet and they had 7 children: Kathleen,Gladys,Norman,Jean,Maurice,Nora and Heather.
Norman being my father.
Harry Elvin was a gamekeeper as far as i know. He died in Lincolnshire in 1961 and is buried at South Elkington church.

My grandfather was also called Harry Elvin, But he was a former Policeman and lived in Bude, Cornwall. He had three boys Ken, Tony and my father Roy who married Margret Conley of Cheshire when the both moved to New Zealand in the late 1930s/ early 1940s. Both my parents are dead now and that makes it hard to get info on this.

I am searching for a relative with the suraname Elvin who lives in New Zealand. Did any of the family move to Thames New Zealand?. I am having trouble finding anything on them and had begun to wonder if they had only recently arrived in the country.

My fathers birth mother was Nola Elvin? I'm searching for info on her and her relatives also.
