This Charles L. Eller is listed as a casualty in Lt. Gen. Hal Moore's book "We Were Soldiers Once... And Young." There is a display dedicated to Mr. Eller in the "Museum of Ashe County History" located in Jefferson, North Carolina. I believe he was the first Vietnam War casualty from Ashe County.
