Calling All Elberfelds

Whether it's spelled Elberfeld, Eberfeldt, Ebberfield, or any of the other possibilities, I am trying, with help from cousins and friends, to find out how we are all related. Many of us Elberfelds have ties to Pomeroy OH or Ironton OH. I have guesses about relationships, but I am looking for other sources of information.
A common tie for many of us is Norman "The Tabasco Kid" Elberfeld, a great ball player and Yankee's manager from the early 1900s. He was my grandfather's bother, and the son of Philip Elberfeld and Katherine Eiselstein of Pomeroy. Philip's father, John, came from Lambsheim, near Frankenthal, Germany.
I am trying to put together as much information as I can on all Elberfelds in the US. If you have anything to share, or have any interest in this line, please contact me.
