My name is April Elium-Allan. My Great, Great, Great grandparents were James and Elizabeth Casper Elam from Rowan County, NC. They had 4 Children, Benjamin (my GG Grandfather), Thomas, Chalmus, and Nancy. Our family, well the ones that are doing the research, know very little about James. We know that he had 2 brothers and they were stone masons. We know that the family came from England to the states but not sure when. I have my GG grandfather's death record and it says that James was born in Woodstock, VA but we can find no birth, death records on James.

It may be possible that our families are related.
