I don't know if it will be of any interest, but my grandfather was Arthur Eke. He lived at 13 Bempstead Road, Walthamstow, U.K.

He worked at the local Junior School a caretaker and physical training instructor.

He died some time in the early 1950s.

To the best of my knowledge there were three daughters, Jessie, Elsie, Dorothy (my mother), a daughter whose name I cannot recall but who died young, and a son killed in the 1st World War serving in the Royal Navy.
