Re: Eke family connection in Norfolk & Nirthumberland
Hi, Roger, I have a Theobold on my tree, but he is our of my line, so I have no-one later than Theobold b. 1843, parents William Eke and Ester Flood). However, I do go back to William Eke, b. 1660. If you are interested in this material, I can give you either a GEDCOM or FTM file, or a MS Word report - I prefer the former myself, as it can go straight into a genealogy program. In return, Id appreciate any information you can add. If I can help, contact me on conical@bordernet.com.au. Cheers, George.

Re: Eke family connection in Norfolk & Nirthumberland
I have James Eke b.c. 1808 One Man Wood Dalling, Norfolk and Lucy Mary Sands christened 1827 Hindolveston. I have their children as: William, Randall, Hannah, Agnes, Herbert, Anna and Julia Edelthia. I don't have the James or Sarah that you mentioned and I surmise that Julius could possible be Julia. I don't have the same birth years as you do for William and Hannah. Marg.

Re: Eke family connection in Norfolk & Nirthumberland
So sorry, but I never saw your post 6 years ago!!!!! Didn't get an email re reply and obviously didn't look. That info re Elizabeth sounds interesting, except her MC gives father Peter Eke labourer. Her DC says born Weasingham, and again father listed as Peter. Guess she could have been brought up by grandparents. I don't have any other info re Norfolk etc.But she died 23 July 1902.
