Possible connection between Eisbrenner and EISBERNER?

Surnames: Eisbrenner, Eisbrener, Eisberner
Several of the postings mentioned that the Eisbrener name came from Poland, and before that the Pomerania region of Germany. This might be a long shot, but my family name is spelled "Eisberner," and we do come from the border region between Germany and Poland. Specifically, an area/town called Soltnitz, Neustettin, Pommern, Germany.

The earliest I've been able to find is Karl August Eisberner (born August 1816), who would be my 3rd-great-grandfather. His son, August Reinhard Eisberner (born 1848) is the one who emigrated to the United States. Most of his siblings came with him, but one sister did remain, as she was married already.

The names almost match up, as do the region and timeframes, so I'm wondering if you think there might be a match in here somewhere?
