GEORGE ALBERT EIKELBERGER
George Albert, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Eikelberger passed away on Thursday, April 17th at the home of his parents south of Minneapolis. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at L.B. Smith funeral home in Minneapolis. Clergyman officiating was Rev. B.R. Lantz and burial was in the Bennington Cemetery.
George was born November 24, 1903, near Culver, Kansas. He attended school and grew to manhood in Kansas, going to Idaho to live in 1923. Later he went to San Francisco, California, and studied architectural work. He was connected with Kitchen Construction Co. and Barrett and Hilp, contractors. He assisted in the construction of numerous bridges and buildings in and near San Francisco. He was connected with Moore and Roberts, Co. of San Francisco and was head foreman of the construction of the High School building in San Mateo, California at the time of his illness. He had many friends in San Francisco and vicinity who did much to help him during his long illness.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Eikelberger and the following brothers and sisters:
Herbert and Fred of Reno, Nevada; Raymond of Longmont, Colorado; Charles of Minneapolis; Walter of Boise, Idaho; Hulda Eikelberger of Los Angeles, California; Bertha Keeler of Las Animas, Colorado; Martha Logan, Knobnoster, Missouri, Edna Cramton of Culver and Alma Tennyson of the home.
