Hi to everyone on the Egna message board....I realize your messages are a couple of years old but I just came across it and also the message board for "Egnatzky". Here's my questions.....on the Egnatzky board I saw a message left by Harvey Egna in Hawaii telling about a town formerly in Austria before WWI called Egna. My mother's maiden name was Egnasko and the only people in the ENTIRE United States with that last name are my three cousins; they are my mothers brothers two sons and their children! Anyway, my mothers fathers name was John Egnasko and he came from Austria sometime at the turn of the century. He died when my mother was twelve, in 1936. He emigrated to Pennsylvania and eventually to Manhattan, where he died. If ANYONE thinks this name/line is familiar at all, please leave a message on the Egna board. Thanks and good luck to all of you in your research! Patty
