I live in Virginia Beach area and have just started researching my ancestors. My great grandfather came from the Netherlands and I believe his first name was Jan (I need to verify that with my grandmother tomorrow?!?) My grandfather was Harry T. Egas and he had a brother named Gerrit and a sister named Margaret (they are buried in the area). My father is Robert and his brother/my uncle is Larry. Anyone that can help me please e-mail me directly (I'm not too good at message boards!) THANKS! -Tonya (EGAS) Diffee kidcounslr@hotmail.com

Hello Byron,

It has been a while since I visited this board. Are you in Canada ? would you like to help the rest of us who are trying to build the family tree. Simply post what you know about your father, mother, and siblings or any other relatives. Names, last names and place of birth. The Egas of new generations are becoming quite spread out, but I have the feeling that any Egas born around the 1960's can easily be tracked to only a few branches of the tree. Personally I will hope to post my genealogy work in my website in the future months.
