My great aunt Sarah MOUL married Bennett EFAW/EFAU in Franklin co., OH, 25 Feb 1855. I cannot find them on any censuses, so don't know where he was born. Can anyone give me any information about this couple? (I know the wife's parents and siblings.)

Bennett Efaw was born ~June 6, 1830 in Ross Co Iowa. He died in Centerville Iowa on June 8, 1914. In addition to Sarah Moul he was married to Emma J. Custer on Oct 25, 1883. His third wife was my relative, Elsie Elizabeth Jones whom he married on June 20, 1875. They had three children, including Albert Edgar Efaw who later changed his last name to Wafe. Bennet's parents were Jacob Efaw and Mary Southard

I hope that this post is not duplicated, as my computer went crazy when I tried to sent this reply........
I was wondering if you are of the Wafe line of Efaw family? Do you know why Wafe was picked as his surname?? It is Efaw spelled backward.............. I was told this years ago by the Efaw family.
