I have information (and photos!) of the Edwards family of Kent, particularly Tonbridge.
Ephraim Edwards (1802-73) - married twice, over 20 children!
Elias (son, 1825-81), married 1849. He was a carpenter and donated land for the construction of Kent County Cricket Club's ground. He had at least 3 children - Thomas (1855), Alice (1856), Robert (1861).
Thomas (1855-1940s?) was a grocer/tea dealer and lived some time in Tonbridge and later Southport. he had 4 children - Alice, Edith, May, and Thomas (my great grandfather).
They were a well off family with properties in London and the children being privately educated.
Lots of info for you, any for me?
