Hi all,
If you don't already have the genealogy of Phebe, b. 1796, the daughter of James Edson, b. 1759, and his wife Ms. Hancock, I recently found just about all of it.
She married Brown Clemons (spelt many ways). They had 5 children, Lyman, b. 1815, Harvey, b. 1817, Rhoda, b. 1815-1820, Anson, b. 1823, and Mahala, b. 1825.
In 1820 Ontario, NY, Brown Clemmons is over 45. and she is listed as that too. ???
In 1830 Niagara, NY, Brown Clemens, is 50-59, and Phebe is 30-39.
I can't find them in 1840, or they were overlooked.
In 1850 Walworth, WI, she is with Anson Clements, listed as Mother Clements, 50, b. NY.
In 1860, Jefferson, WI, she is with Mahala Hayes, her daughter, and husband Asa Hayes, listed as Pheba Willouby, 60, b. NY.
In 1870, Jefferson, WI, she is with Emily Clemons, widow ? of Harvey Clemons, listed as Phebe Noturly ?, 69, b. NY.
In 1880, Dane, WI, she is with Asa and Mahala Hayes, listed as Phebe Wilbern, Mother in law, 80, b. NY.
She died in 1890 in Dane WI, and she is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Albion WI by Asa. Listed there as Phebe Clemons.
