Hi Cousin Clarke,
I have heard lots about you. One day I will get to see the famous ancestral Home that goes back to the days of the Saxons.
There is one thing I must follow up on at a later date.
Someone wrote a book about the Edmeades back in the late 1960's early 70's. I came across that when doing my research at an LDS Family History centre. As the address for the gentleman was over 25 years old I didn't write to him.
Do you know of anyone from back then who produced a book on the EDMEADES line.
I am however still disputing with my sister Trish the HORN name which links up to/with your EDMEADES line.
She Spells It HORN(E) I spell it HORN until someone proves me wrong.
I have a marriage certificate for James HORN and Mary EDMEADES daughter Elizabeth to a William DUST and it has been spelt HORN.
Her brother James even spelt his last name as just HORN.
Till next time.
Regards, Kathy Hill
