sorry about the mistake in my last message,i am getting my information
from papers that my grandmother wrote, who is 88, charles wesley edgell was born in Little Elk, WVA
which according by what my grandmother wrote down is close to Brown and Wallace.
Other information i have found- thomas edgell, (charles wesleys father) was a methodist minister.
molly cane(thomas edgells mother) was said to be a black foot indian. other towns mentioned in
grandmas papers are Big Run where she was born, and clarksburg.

I am going to the Wallace-Brown area this weekend(as I have ancestors buried there), but have not heard of Big Run or Little Elk. Perhaps you can tell me more about where they are. I also Edgells in my lineage--
my great-grandmother was the daughter of Elias Edgell. Edgell is a very popular name in Wetzel County which is just up the road from Brown/Wallace.--Don

my ancester was william edgell which would have been
a brother to elias edgell, williams son was named
james who married a woman named mary cain, they had
20 children. so that would explain the many edgells in that
county.

well don i found all my ancestors i start with fredricke ice and mary galloway then fredrick ice and eleanor livingston then william billy ice in1730 in barrick w.va whose wives were marget higgbotham mary scott mcmillan elizabeth shreve whose son was james c edgell his spouse was mary cain thier son was charles wesley edgell whose wives were rachel snodgrass and mary ann underwood thier son was my great grand father jhon wesley edgell who married alice anna stone whose son was merrel edgell and his wife was marie oliver edgell my grandmother thier son my father homer lloyd edgell thanks for the help

Rhoda Mae Edgell was my Great Grandmother.
We don't know who my great grandfather was.
After my grandfather, Everett Gail Edgell,
was born, she married Arthur Davis
