Seeking any info on Martha Horner b. 1876 probably in Wetzel Co., WV. She married Ward Edgell abt. 1892 and they had the following children: Delia, Eva, Ellie, Frank and Martha who was born in 1902 and died June 7th 1902. Sometime after the birth of her last child, Martha Edgell, in 1902 Martha Horner Edgell was sent to Weston State Hospital for the Insane where she died of dysentery on June 4, 1902.

I am seeking info on Martha's parents and any info on her admittance to Weston. Interestingly, Ward Edgell married Annie Hatfield Glover around that time. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ward edgell is great uncle and was married to jane edgell.
my father manes is hood edgell and married viedith smith.

Ward Edgell was my gggrandfather, son of James Goulden Edgell and Phoebe Starkey. Ward was born 04/03/1874 and died 04/03/1958. He first married Martha Horner as I stated in previous email and then Anna Hatfield Glover. I don't have a Hood Edgell in my line and am curious if we are talking about two different Ward Edgell's and if so where are connection is?

Is your Ward Edgell the same one that married Annie Glover?
