Trying to trace descendants of Izaak Eckhoff, born about 1811 in Leeuwarden, Holland. Married Caroline, Johana ? from Amsterdam and moved to London between 1852 and 1859

Yes this Izaak is my great great great grandfather i have the original of his and Carolina's wedding certificate and her original birth certificate (she was born Carolina Johanna Wittenberg in Amsterdam,1840. We also have a painting of Cornelius, their son, who is my mothers great grandfather.

Dear Alice, I haven't heard anything from you since October 2006! I'm pleased that you have taken up your research again. In your last communication you said that you had only just started and had a lot yet to do. Izaak was my g.g. grandfather. He had a son Jan Hendrick who had a son Edward Robert Nelus who had a daughter Rose who is my mother. Your ancester Cornelius was also known as Albert who married two Lawrence sisters.
How did you get hold of Izaak's marriage certificate and Caroline's birth certificate? Any chance of copies of them and Cornelius's painting?
