I am looking for more information on ancestors of Ferdinand Eckhardt; born JAN 1825 in Hess, Darmstadt, Germany, Immigrated from Germany to New York city in 1852 and settled in Rock Island County, IL. Married to Barbara Elizabeth Rebola about 1852. They had nine children.

I believe that his father may have been Conrad and his mother may have been Elizabeth.
