My great grandfather was Felipe Echavarry from the Asturias area of Spain. He married Juana Pavon from the Canary Islands and they both found their way to the Ciales area of Puerto Rico. Felipe had a plantation/farm that produced tobacco products in particular a cigar named after one of their daughters, Leonor(e). The time frame for all of this is the mid to late 1800's on through to the early 1900's. Any information on the Echavarry or the Pavon surname would be very helpful.

I am looking for any family I might have. My fathers name was Leonard Echavarry and he passed in Feb 1979 when I was 9yrs old, I know he had two other children before he married my mom and had me but I never met or know who they are. Any info you have on the Echavarrys would be helpful.
