I'm looking for info on her, my GG grandma, born in Nebraska 3/26/1868. She married Charles E. Shaffer (born 9/17/1861 in Michigan) in 1885, in Los Angeles, and they were in Sandpoint, ID for a long time.

They had a lot of kids (my info is at home, I can add later if needed), including my G grandma Dora Shaffer.

Can anyone help?

My Great Grandfather Seymour B. Eastman and family lived in Nebraska City, NE from 1870. He had an uncle Benjamin Eastman living in Omaha, NE. They were in the shoe business together for a while. If Benjamin is one of your people I might have some info

Thanks for the info. I really don't have anything aside from a few census records about her, and the fact that she had 10 kids. I'll try searching their names to see if there is a connection with your NE kin. Hopefully someone has done work with this line!

I just got additional info that Emma's father was named Elijah E. Eastman.

And Emma's middle name is Adalaid.

Does this ring any bells? I'm stumped otherwise.
