I have info on Nathaniel and Chandler. Nathaniel m. Eliza Ann Atwood and had: Frank W, George A, Lorenzo L, Walter H, and Maude. Chandler m. Mary Ellen Gray (b. 21 Aug 1843) and had: Frances Bartlett (b. 26 Sep 1867) who m. George Newton Swallow and they had: Sally Currier, George Newton, and Chandler Eastman.
Do you have the birth date of Hazen? Also I had that Bartlett was another son, and not Hazen's middle name.

Hazen was born on Nov 4, 1794. I don't know when he died.
He had a son, Hazen Bartlett b. Sept 30, 1832, unknown date of death who fought in the civil war for ME.
Hazen B. had a son Abel Veranus b. Nov 23, 1859.
Abel's son, Bartlett Stewart b. Aug 26, 1887 d. May 2, 1946 was my great-grandpa, and had 5 sons w/ Anna Nelson: Chandler Lorenzo, Elwood Duane, Arlo Nelson, Loren Emmett & Russell Reid.

I found George Eastman's site and was able to verify much of the info I had on hand.
Hope this helps & thanks for our info.

I see you're using the George Eastman web site as "verification" for your Hazen Eastman information. I hope you understand that web site -- or ANY other web site -- is not a reliable "source." You could, for example, make up a fictitious family tree, post it to the web, and someone else could come along and think it was true. In no time your "facts" would become Gospel in family trees across the world.

You need to do your own independent research. Use what you read on the Internet as a starting point, but VERIFY it. As wonderful as the George Eastman web site is -- or any other source of Internet family trees -- it's not infallible.

Ginnie-

Thank you, and of course.
George's Eastman website has valid information that I have already gotten from my independent research, family members, reunions, pictures etc.
His information "matched mine" is perhaps what I should have said.

Thank you for your alert eye! (A family trait perhaps??)
Best,
Dawn

Just saw this posting of yours. Hope you still get this message. I have a picture of Hazen Bartlett Eastman (I believe this is the one who fought in the Civil War). This picture is undated, but I hope it helps you.
