i am searhing for my great grandfather David Eagland who left his 5 children in mossley england after 1881 his wife died in 1880 believed to have gone to America.

Hello, I am also researching the name of Eagland. My mother was Maureeen Eagland. She was born in 1937 in Upton Park, East London. Her father Edward was known known as Ted and lived in Silvertown. He was one of 7 children. Her mother was Hilda Eagland.
I am sure that we are probably related somewhere down the line.

I'm researching the Eagland family in Middlesex, England. I have traced back to Richard, b. Spitalfields, Middlesex c. 1822. He was a shoemaker. He married Susan ~, and they had 4 children: Richard (c. 1853, Dalston, Middlesex), Jane (c. 1854, Bethnal Green), Susan (c. 1859, Bethnal Green) and Emma (c. 1862, Bethnal Green).
