Are you and your family in South Carolina? As I stated b4 I don't have any contact from Eady's that remained in SC after Elizabeth and Gabriel left (1903) and came to South Georgia. Elizabeth died in 1932 in Coffee County, Gabriel died in 1938 in Coffee County, his eldest son, William died in 1934 in Coffee County. Gabriel has a 94 year old granddaughter that is still lving in Coffee County but she doen't remember any kin from SC, he had another granddaughter, Annie Lee (William's daughter) that died just this past Christmas week age 96 in Coffee County, Ga and she wasn't told much either. The only contact of Eadys I have are the living descendents that are still in Coffee County. Gabriels niece, Roxie Carter died in 1997 at the age of 100. She livied in Axson, Ga. until a few years where she moved to Waycross Ga in the 1920s or 1930's. I have contact with her grands in Georgia and Florida. Gabriel's grand and great grands from his son William and other children are still in Coffee County and I am in contact with them. Since census records stop at 1920 to this point, can't track any further.. Gabriel had a couple of daughters that died in the 80's and 90's that possibly knew more about SC people because they were older when they left but unfortunately, they died and it wasn't passed on. I really don't think anybody was tracing or tracking family at that time either. I really just started this task in 2006 after I retired.
