Yes, my Dad tells the story of his Uncle James Eacret Arriving in Barry County, MO in two covered wagons, James' children being listed on the Munsey School rouster in 1916 just a few months ofter Dad was born in March 1916. Further, when my Grandpa Clarence Nelson Eacret married Myrtle Grace Keith [Larry Vanderpool former husband who drowned] she and my grandpa went down to Arkansas and traded Murtle's land for a wagon and team and supplies and furniture and stuff and came back up to Barry County where Grandpa had a farm.
So, I guess the line of Eacrets behind me came from somewhere in to Arkansas, then Grandpa came up to MO, then James, his brother came up, or maybe the other way around. Dad, ninety years old, has a little trouble with chronogy, perhaps becoming 'chonology challenged'. :)
So, then, I'm going to be watching the Eacrets in Akansas posting and doing my searches via Arkansas Eacrets and maybe some strings can be tied together.
