I have a couple of Dymotts connected to my tree (not in direct line but of interest). Hope these help you:

Harry Dymott b abt 1845 (pure guess) prob. in England, married Elisabeth "Lise" (pronounced with long i, Lies) Howard.

Harry and Lise had a daughter Lizzie (presumably also Elisabeth) Dymott b maybe 1880/1884, possibly in Canada.

They were relatives of my grandmother's and were probably living near her family in Toronto in 1897.

I would really really like to know what Elisabeth's parents' names were. Her mother is my 2G grandmother by a second marriage. (Or maybe a first marriage.)
