I am trying to trace info re my great great grandfather, Thomas Dykes, who was born St. Luke's Parish, London approx. 1796/1797 and came to Australia (maybe Tasmania) approx. 1818 (possibly as a convict).

He married Ellen Reardon (Raardon) (from Isle of Wight, UK) in 1842 (also possibly a convict), then lived and died (1992 - aged 86) at Jones Island, Manning River, NSW, Australia.

From Thomas' death certificate, his parents werre Samuel Dykes (carpenter) and Ann Williams.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
