My ancester, Olive March Bailey , was born 30 March 1820 and married Elijah (Ephraim?) Wilcox. They lived in Ticonderoga, NY and ended up in Montevideo, Minnesota.
Olive's parents were Bela Bailey and Elizabeth (Betsey) Rich.
My mother, in letters about her youth in Rapid City, SD, mentioned the Dyer family.
This would be her paternal line. Does it go back to William Brewster - Abigail Clapp is mentioned. My mother's maternal line originates with the Orrs of Orr's Island, Maine. I'm also looking for a Lettice Eliot of Boston who married an Orr. She was a widow of Wier (Wyer).
