MCCONNELSVILLE: Ralph D. Dye Jr. 83, of McConnelsville, Ohio, passed away at 12.00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Highland Oaks Care Center in McConnelsville.
He was born September 10, 1931 in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of the late Ralph D. Dye Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Coulson Dye.
He was a graduate of Ohio State University and Youngstown State University School of Law.
He attended Trinity United Methodist Church in McConnelsville and First Presbyterian Church in McConnelsville. He was a attorney and a Judge for Morgan County Court in McConnelsville for many years.
He is survived by brothers Bruce (Kay) Dye of McConnelsville, Jerry (Connie) Dye of Worthington, Ohio, Douglas (Karen ) Dye of Westerville; close friend Mary Lou Haines of McConnelsville; several nieces and nephews and one grand nephew and two grand nieces. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother David Dye.
Friends may call 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 1: 00 p.m. with Pastor Galen Finley officiating.
He will be laid to rest in McConnelsville Cemetery.
