I have just recently found that my maternal Great great grandmother was Harriet Dyball born in Middlesex, then it has Stepney with a ? It has her father listed as William Dyball born 1787 and the house proprietor as Mary ann born also in 1787. I think she might be Harriet's mother...not sure. There is mention of an Eliza, 1816 (Wakefield) and a Susan 1818 (Pratt?) married 1846. This is very curious. If anyone can help me decipher this it would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you in advance!!! Janet

My name is Brandon Dyball I think we have the same Great
Grand father, My Grand father was Ephraim Dyball who had
Three sons and four daughters.
I am thinking of tracing back our origins have you got any
information about our great grand father who I know lived in Sheringham and married twice, and Ephraim was from the first marriage. My mother also said the estate was requisitioned during the war. I don't know if that was true or not. Any information would be gratefully received.

Hello Cathie.
I'm from the Robert and Sarah line of Dyballs from Australia
Robert came out to Australia in about 1836 as a convict and married Sarah in Adelaide Australia.
I believe Robert was born in Buxton in 1821 to Francis and Mary.
Currently looking into the family history in the Norfolk area, did you find any link to your family?
Regards
Michael Dyball

My mother, Lucy Dyball was the sister of Ephriam. She died in Southport, Lancs. circa 1970.
I am looking for any information regarding her husband William Burns, died or disappeared in 1929

My mother Lucy Dyball was born in Liverpool. He father was your great grand father. Her sisters, by his first marriage, were Anne and Florence. The third sister's name eludes me.
The second marriage children inherited his estate. He had been a policeman in Liverpool before retiring.

Hi

I know you posted a while ago now but hopefully you get this. Im trying to trace the family of my biological dad but as i dont have him in my life its tricky. What i know is that my Grandfather is Bert Dyball (not sure if thats short for anything?) he definatly had 2 sons, Mark Lee Dyball and Wayne Dyball. Wondering if they fit into your family tree anywhere? Just rather curious where my family comes from. Many Thanks

Casey

Dear Casey,

Sorry you are in this predicament. We went through this with my wife. When we found them nothing had changed and they did not want to know her, so be prepared for that. My Great grandfather was Albert Valentine Dyball. His brother emigrated to Australia and I see you have had a response from Jesse his grandson. There are many Dyballs in and around Norfolk,England. I am still in the UK where are you from ?
