My name is Christie Dyball and I am the 21 year old daughter of Brian Dyball, grandaughter of William Dyball(deceased)who married Ann from England and moved to Quebec eastern townships. Ann, my father's mother, died almost 50 years ago of stomach cancer. My father has a younger brother, Barry Dyball who has son Steven. I'm looking for anyone who might be related or who knows of our family, I've nver met any other Dyball's besides the ones I have listed. Maybe we have a history!

I am keen to trace my ancestors in London who I believe were bakers in London. My great grandfather moved to Norfolk and lived with a family of Dyballs and subsequently changed his name to Dyball. He ended up in Rotherham Yorkshire where his sons Charles and Ernest were born and their sons Eddie and Roger (1 each) and Eddie's son me.
If anyone has any information about the relationship between my grandfather and the Norfolk Dyballs I would love to hear

Christine

My mother's maiden name is Dyball and the Dyballs from Taree NSW Australia recently had a reunion. They were originally from England. I would be interested to know any information that about your grandfather William Dyball especially his country of birth to help work out if there are links to the Taree Dyball family.

Regards

The original Dyball in my line that was transported to Australia was Thomas Dyball and he was born 5 February 1809 in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England. He married when he arrived in Australia. The William that I am aware of were born in Australia, though I am waiting on some further research to let me know more about the links in England.

Does this link up with any of your lines.

Regards

Peter

Hi Peter
I don't yet know the birthplace of my original John or his parents names however there are 2 John Dyball's both from Norfolk who are born at about the right time so it is possible that we are connected. Please keep me posted on the progress of your research

Cheers
Yvonne
