Help ! I have hit a brick wall my Great Grandmother Was a Louisa Dyas (various spellings) born Birminham 1868 her Father was Thomas Dyas B abb 1828 Birmingham occupation brassfounder her mother Ellen Green b abb 1829 Shrewsbury Thomas's father was also named Thomas but can't find any more info is there anyone who can throw some light?

I cannot find a direct link with your Thomas Dyas but my branch of the family were from the Madeley / Broseley area of Shropshire (early/mid 1800's) so it is quite likely that there is a connection somewhere. I have a Thomas Dyas born Madeley about 1781 but I have no further information about him as yet.
