Hi Claire, Nice to hear from you. You did a great job on compiling the Tanner History, we have a copy of it. My mother-in-law had been in some communication with you, then she got more ill, and she has since passed away. But, anyway we got your name, the History and a letter from John Dyas-I think. My husband's line is the same as yours. Just interested in finding out anything else that we can about the Tanners in Nebraska. I don't know if you know about this, but, I have a picture of Sabin Sr., and his three sisters, Hattie and I can't remember the other two. Think it was taken about the time Sabin and Clara were moving to Washington State. In it they are all older, like 50+. Have you seen a picture like I describe? Send you a copy if you're interested? Let me know, See what else we can exchange. Sue

Hi,
I came across this message board while researching for things about Sabin Tanner. I'm his great-grandaughter. My name is Rachille Tanner Rusche. His son Joseph Tanner who died in 1978 is my grandfather and his son Joseph Sabin Tanner is my father. I knew he was from Nebraska and he had a sister named Clara. His wife's name was Lillian. I would really appreciate any information you could help me with. I don't know much about this side of the family. I did know Lillian but she never spoke of him and she died when I was 15, so I never really got a chance to ask her. Most of their children have passed on now and I'm having a hard time locating the last remaining sons.

Hi, My husband is the Tanner connection. Sabin is my husband's grandfather. His dad is Harold Gene Tanner who was married Lillian. Both are dead. What info are you looking for exactly? Have a good day, Sue/Jerry
