I am not positive these are the folks about whom you seek information, but I do believe they are. Rhoda Dyar was the daughter of Martin Dyar (b. 7-7-1808, Franklin Co., Ga.; d. 6-28-1872, Oconee Co., S.C.). Her mother was Rhoda Russell, daughter of John Russell. She was born 7-20-1806 at Pickens Co., S.C. and died 8-30-1889 at Oconee Co., S.C. Both Martin and Rhoda are buried at Corinth Cemetery, Oconee Co. They had 5 children, one of whom was James B. Dyar (b. 1832, d. 1905), who married Millie Powell. They had seven children, one of whom was Rhoda (b.1866, d. 1943). She married Frederick Smith (b.1862, d. 1940). They had 11 children. I have additional information on Martin Dyar's ancestors, but nothing more on the others except Martin's and James' other children. Martin was the brother of my g-g-grandfather, so your husband and I are very distant kin. I hope this is of help.

I realize, because the dates don't fit, that the Rhoda Dyar Iam writing about has to be a later Rhoda Dyar than the one mentioned in your post. But it seems likely to me that we are still talking about the same family, even though it's a later generation. I'm interested in the Rhoda Dyar who married Marshall Columbus Williams. Their daughter Ida Isabell Williams, born 12 Jul 1875, and dead in Oconee Co. 28 Dec 1951, married Joab Lewis Hudson, dead in Oconee Co. 9 Feb 1938.
All assistance is deeply appreciated.
