Thank you so much for responding. My husband's father was adopted...he's about 53 years old. When he was born his birth parents named him Philip(or Phillip) Dwello. We are looking into our family ancestry so we're able to tell our children about it. Please let me know what info. you have if you can.

well all I can tell you is that Dorothy Dwello gave up some children. She married Walter Bell. These records have been sealed and we cant get into them, maybe you can give it a try. I have found one of her adopted children, His name is Thomas. I am not going to say for sure that this is Phillip's mother, but in all my Dwello research this woman is the only one who gave up her children. She has passed and so has her husband and there son they did keep. We know for sure that Thomas is one of her children do to the fact that his adopted parents told him before they died. The Dwello search has been long and hard and its difficult to get people to give up info. Do you have a photo of phillip that you can send me and I will compare it to Thomas's photo to see if there is any resemblence.Thomas is also in his fifty's.
well let me know what you think and I will await your reply.

Hope to hear from you soon, Tonja

If you are still looking for Dwello descendents, I might be able to help. My grandfather was Fredrick Ellis Dwello, married to Agnes Sophia Lyng. They had two daughters and five sons, Esther, Muriel, Robert, Ellis, Howard, Earl, Dwight.

My father in law was named Philip Dwello at birth, was adopted, and his name was changed. He was born May 7th and is 55 I believe. That's all I know. Has anyone in your family given up a baby?
