Antonin DVORAK's daughter is Otylie. I've got a chart of his direct lineage all the way from c. 1610 to latest about 1990. and it has all of his children listed and their year of birth and year of death. Starts with a Jan DVORAK in 1610. Book is "Antonin DVORAK, My Father" by Otakar DVORAK, the composer's son.

Re: Reply to Antonin Dvorak's Family!!
Yes, Otilka, Otilie were both names of that daughter of Antonin Dvorak, the composer. I'm assuming it was the feminine version of Otakar which was one of Antonin's sons. I've got 2 books on the great composer. Glad someone is interested in him besides me.
Sincerely John Dvorak (no relative, just a fan)

First of all thanks in advance for your time. Would my ggrandmother happen to be in your family line? Her name was Carolina Ana Dvorak Pospisil. All I know is that she had a brother named, Joe Dvorak, and that she married James(Jim) Pospisil; Forest City, Winnebago, IA and David City, Butler, NE, and she had five children, Charlie, Emil, Lillian, Maime, Vivian, all lived within that same area....Stanton County, NE area, too. Here's my e-address, I am anxious to find out! cupcake54737@myfamily.com Thanks again!

You mentioned a "Jan Dvorak" born in 1610. I have a Jan Dvorak born in 1810. But, his name is listed as "Jan Dvorak Pavlovsky" born 5-16-1810. Does this sound familiar to you at all? Just wondering if he wouldn't have been a descendent of your "1610 Jan".

You should check your local library for a copy as well. You could photocopy the information you need. Many central libraries have genealogy departments, you may want to ask them also.
My g-gf's sister married a Dvorak, and I recently connected with their grandaughter. Perseverance is the key, good luck to you!
